Lemon Moonshine Infused Sweet Tea

Try this refreshing spiked version of a Southern favorite

Enjoy this delicious moonshine-spiked sweet tea this summer
What goes better with sweet tea than moonshine? We’re not quite sure, but we’re certainly not worried about figuring it out! This refreshing cocktail is perfect for your mountain vacation, tailgating Saturday, or a relaxing afternoon on the back porch. It’s moonshine time, y’all!


2 black tea bags (we like orange pekoe)
1 cup boiling water
1 cup ice cubes
3 tablespoons sugar
2 shots Lemon moonshine
(Ole Smokey Lemon drop Lightnin’ is our favorite!)


In a saucepan bring 2 cups water to a boil, once water has reached a rolling boil add the tea bags and immediately take off the heat. Let steep for 5 minutes then remove the tea bags and stir in ice and sugar. Chill for at least 2 hours. When ready to serve, stir in shots of lemon moonshine and enjoy!
