Pecan Butter Recipe Ingredients:
2 cups pecan halves
½ cup honey
2 tbsp coconut oil
¼ teaspoon of salt
Preheat oven to 350° F. Spread pecans out in a single layer on a baking tray and place in oven for 15 minutes or until just golden brown. After removing the tray from the oven, immediately toss pecans in 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and sprinkle with the salt. Allow to cool. Once cool, transfer pecans to a food processor or blender, and turn on high. Blend until pecans are completely turned into powder. Add the honey and remaining tablespoon of oil, and push down any pecans stuck to the sides of the blender. Turn the blender back on high and allow for butter to blend for 15 minutes or until completely smooth and creamy. Transfer pecan butter to a jar and refrigerate.
