You know how a few years ago people were running around hashtagging YOLO?
Yeah, that annoyed us, too, and don’t worry … we’re not bringing that back. However, we are all about chasing experiences, trying new things, and having a blast, which is why in Columbus, Georgia, we “go all out” (#GOALLOUT).
Although there are lots of ways to have a bigger, better, and wilder vacation in this city, we’ve found these Columbus, GA attractions are hands down the “All OUT Fave” top 12.

Zip lining in and of itself is cool, but it gets infinitely more awesome when you’re zip lining across state lines and over the Chattahoochee River with Blue Heron Adventure. After you reach Phenix, AL, challenge yourself on the Blue Heron Aerial Course, comprised of ten tree-top obstacles. Not to worry; you won’t be stranded…a motorized Canyon Raft is standing by to bring you back to the Georgia shore.

Discover art, heritage, culture, and history under one roof at the “always changing, always free” Columbus Museum. It’s one of the largest museums in the southeast and features fixed and rotating exhibits with a special emphasis on American Art and regional history.

Get wowed—from the Temptations to the Ten Tenors—at RiverCenter for the Performing Arts, which offers an exceptional annual program of events, nationally and internationally famous performers are often booked at this 2000-seat performance venue. It’s just one of seven performance theaters in the original city we call Uptown.

The Springer is not only the State Theatre of Georgia, but it’s also one of only seven theaters in the United States presenting theatrical productions in a National Historic Landmark.
